Differential air shaft is mainly used as sub-section equipment of
the slitting machines.The differential ring on it can slip
independently. Controlled by the tension system, make the
compressed air which has a certain pressure come to shaft core, so
that it will produce friction torque between the friction parts and
the slip ring, and realize constant tension coiling and it will
help solve the unwinding problems and material damages caused by
uneven thickness and tension of each roll material.

Component
Differential shaft are made of core roll, differential ring,
airbags, friction parts, sealing rings.
The body of the air differential shaft is made from chrome-plate
steel or hard anodized aluminum. The friction plate can be made
from polyurethane, polyethylene, or rubber to max tension required.
To meet our customers’ special requirements, according to the
drawing, we can make steel shaft head with different sizes.
